I coach professionals through their first decade at work, and I have been watching my own sons start their careers. What you named as the atrophy edge is exactly the gap I see opening in them. They are producing polished work with AI. They are also quietly failing to build the foundation that the next ten years are supposed to rest on.
Your line that atrophy is pressure, not decline, is the line that reframes everything for me. The four capacities you named, embodied, feeling, intuiting, and integrating, are the inner architecture every great career rests on. I have been writing about that from the career-progression side for a while now, and you have just given me a much better language for it.
With your permission, I would love to build on your piece. I call that "restack on steroids" .. yeah .. know weird but rather than just restacking it I add my own perspective for my own domain and audience while attributing and linking back to your own article.
